At Hosters and later Sentia, I architected and led the development of a custom CRM/CMDB system from scratch. This engine handled customer provisioning and automated financial billing to consolidate operations following several major acquisitions. It eliminated the need for manual data entry and recurring maintenance, allowing technical teams to focus on growth instead of babysitting data.
